Screen Nation Film & TV Nominations Exclusively Announced via Google


In a first ever in film and television history, Screen Nation Film & Television Awards exclusively held a Google+ Hangout on Air, to announce its prestigious nominations for the 2012 awards.

Broadcast live from the Screen Nation Awards Google +page as well as shown on YouTube this exciting medium, which is essentially a multi-way video call streamed live, added a new interactive dimension to this year’s nominations announcement.

Committed to supporting British talent, our special guest presenters included the lovable Shanika Warren-Markland (‘4,3,2,1’, ‘Victim’), the established young actor Jimmy Akingbola (‘Holby City’) with award-winning comedian Eddie Kadi completing our unique panel.

Voting takes place from now until 6th Nov and can be accessed via the Screen Nation website.

The Screen Nation Awards, takes place on Sunday 11th November 2012 at the Park Plaza - Westminster Bridge. This star-studded ceremony will be hosted for the first time by much loved actor Wil Johnson of ‘Waking the Dead’ fame and Radio 1Xtra chart host Sarah Jane Crawford.
