Chucky Venn Middle (Best Actor) Richie (Left) & Nick (Right).

The MSVA was a perfect winter warmer - which kept an intrigued audience entertained on a cold winter’s night. On arrival at the lavish event, guests were treated to a champagne reception, whilst being presented with opportunities to rub shoulders with some familiar faces we see on our TV screens.

Once seated, guests were greeted with more champagne and wine on each table before being presented with a three course meal which was well worth the wait. The night was presented by Hugh Quarshie & Tameka Empson - with the latter making a late stylish appearance. However, she was just as good value as her character (Kim) on our beloved soap opera Eastenders and was a laugh a minute.

There was breath taking performances from: Akai, Shantell from Holland’s got talent, and Nya King who produced an excellent tribute for Whitney Houston which was so fitting on the night. However, one of the surprise packages of the night was an unexpected performance by Hugh Quashie who sang a whole song in German [well done Hugh].
